playing firecrackers during nights before raya has become an annual events for the kids. However it seem hard to find this enjoying celebration lately in this millennium. time to capture the lights before it ceased to exist !!!
ketupat_ compacted rice in the coconut leaves envelope. surprisingly boys in my family more talented to acquire the 'menganyam ketupat' skill than the girls. hang them for one night before di'kendurikan' on next morning

this pic was taken a day before last year aidilfitri celebration. i intend to use b&w mode to emphasize the 'old school' atmosphere. the old 'SINGER' sewing machine and the kampung house as the background completing each other. thanks to my mum who was busy altering my 'songket' . i love u mum!!!
